What this means for your family

While some families report that the staff is attentive and keeps residents engaged in activities, there are consistent, serious reports regarding cleanliness and the loss of personal property. We strongly recommend visiting the facility in person to observe the specific floor where your loved one would reside and asking management about their protocols for property tracking and sanitation.

Key Review Excerpts

While it is an older facility the staff is excellent. They keep the place clean and the treat my mother well. They don’t let her just lay in bed all day. They have her get up for various activities.

Family member · 2025★★★★★

Also my family member her air mattress was some how unplugged and she laid there without no air in it causing a very bad bed sore which when they was changing her should have been noticed . This is terrible and should never happened.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

I visited a friend there. I don’t know about the other floors, but the first floor is very dismal and depressing. As I was leaving and waiting for the elevator I almost threw up from the smell of urine.

This facility has had significant issues with families filing complaints that resulted in federal citations, including a serious finding related to protecting residents from abuse and neglect. The most recurring problems involve care planning and treatment delivery, medication management, and emergency preparedness protocols. While the facility has provided correction dates for all deficiencies, the pattern of complaint-driven investigations and the serious nature of some findings, particularly around resident protection, warrant careful consideration and thorough questioning during any visit.
