Meadowstone Place is highly regarded for its warm, community-oriented atmosphere and exceptionally caring staff who treat residents like family. While many praise the beautiful gardens, amenities, and social activities, some long-term residents have noted a decline in property maintenance and a loss of personal touch during certain management transitions.

Questions for Your Tour

  • 1With such a small community of only 9 residents, how do you foster a sense of companionship and prevent anyone from feeling isolated?
  • 2I noticed how much you value community engagement in your responses; could you tell us more about the specific social activities or garden events planned for this month?
  • 3The gardens look beautiful in photos; how often are the grounds and landscaping maintained to ensure they are safe for residents to enjoy?
  • 4Since you are memory care certified, what specific protocols are in place to handle medical emergencies or sudden changes in a resident's health during the night?
  • 5Are there any upcoming plans for interior updates or renovations to the apartments to keep the living spaces feeling fresh?
  • 6How do you ensure that the high level of attentive care we see in your community remains consistent across all shifts and staff members?

Key Review Excerpts

The staff brought so much joy to the entertainment- dancing around with the residents and making them laugh and smile. What a treat to witness this beautiful place!

Visitor/Performer · 2025★★★★★

My mom lived in Meadowstone Place for 13 years. For her first years, everything was really good; however, for quite a few years after that there were a number of changes in their staff. Sadly, we saw much of the property decline and they also lost much of their personal touch. In August 2026 they got a new Director, Jennifer Daniels, and she has brought it back to a 5 start retirement complex!

Long-term resident's family · 2026★★★★★

My sister has lived here for the past 3 years, and I am very impressed by how staff and management keep family members in the loop with changes and updates. The staff is readily available for residents and family members, and they seem to really care about their wellbeing.
