Key Review Excerpts

Do not place your loved one in this home if they have a high level of need. Our 99 year old mother was very weak, physically, but clear minded, when she entered the home. Staff neglected her.

Long-term resident's family · 2022☆☆☆☆

Food and cleanliness are lacking. Most of the staff do not care about their patients. Rehab is good if they think you’re getting out. Long term patients get minimal care.

Family member · 2022☆☆☆☆

Met Mom in rehab yeserday morning at Highland View, and stayed for lunch too. The staff was friendly, courteous and above all professional in all the dealings we observed.

Highland View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center shows a pattern of fire safety and building maintenance issues across two surveys, with deficiencies in smoke barriers, fire alarms, and electrical systems recurring from 2023 to 2025. The facility also had problems with medication management and resident care planning. While all deficiencies have correction dates, the persistence of safety-related issues across multiple inspections suggests ongoing maintenance challenges that families should discuss during visits.
