What this means for your family

Harvard Square has seen significant positive momentum under recent leadership, with many families praising the compassionate care staff and community atmosphere. However, because there are conflicting reports regarding memory care consistency and dining quality, we strongly recommend visiting during a mealtime and asking specifically about the current staffing ratios in the memory care wing.

Key Review Excerpts

Harvard Square had issues in the past, but the new director is aggressively fixing them.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The care staff on the memory care side are simply exceptional. Among other things, they got my mother to shower regularly, which hadn't been a habit for a long time.

Memory care family member · 2024★★★☆☆

If you need memory care, please avoid this place. They are cheap for a reason. They will intentionally withhold medication. They will neglect hygiene.
