What this means for your family

While Foxwood Springs offers a vibrant social environment for independent living, families should exercise caution regarding clinical care. Multiple reviews highlight serious lapses in medication management and responsiveness in assisted living and rehab; we strongly recommend asking for specific staffing ratios and oversight protocols for medical treatments before committing.

Foxwood Springs Living Center receives polarized feedback, with many residents and families praising the independent living social environment and friendly staff. However, significant concerns exist regarding the quality of care in assisted living and rehab, specifically involving medication management, missed meals, and slow response times to medical issues. Families should be aware that while the facility offers many amenities, the consistency of clinical care appears to be a major pain point for some.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother has been there for two years and - well - there’s a lot of reasons I wouldn’t recommend it. You’d think for $5,500 a month the care would be a bit better. Recently she had a uti. They took urine and then treatment didn’t start until 8 days later.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★☆☆☆

I have never in my life seen such horrible care as Steve is getting at Foxwood Springs in Raymore. The nurse practitioner came by this morning and I showed him that Steves right leg is swollen... Then they forgot his meal again this evening.

Long-term resident's family · 2025☆☆☆☆

The memory care unit is Big and open area with the rooms on the outside with a window... The staff… can always use help. But I feel this is the best place for someone with dementia or Alzheimer’s. It’s expensive if you’re private pay.

This facility shows recurring problems with fire safety systems, medication management, and resident safety that persist across multiple surveys from 2021-2025.
