What this means for your family

While the facility offers modern amenities and an effective therapy program, the recent trend of negative reviews regarding nursing responsiveness and medication management is concerning. If you choose this facility, ensure you have a plan for frequent, in-person monitoring of your loved one, especially during evenings and weekends.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

149 reviews on Google
Fountain Hills Post Acute receives highly polarized feedback, with many reviewers praising the facility's recent renovations, cleanliness, and the dedication of the therapy and nursing teams. However, a significant number of families report critical lapses in care, including slow response times to call lights, inconsistent medication management, and poor communication from administration. Prospective families should be aware that while the facility presents well physically, the quality of care appears highly dependent on individual staff performance and shift consistency.

Key Review Excerpts

The incredible healthcare professionals who staff this facility deserve more than five stars. My father spent several weeks here after a post surgical complication. His team of tireless caregivers got him back on his feet, back to home, & back to independence.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

They left my mother in a wet brief everyday. Even though I told them to take her to change her brief every 2 hours , I told them everyday. I’m just saying. Plus my mom lost weight the food was terrible no one cared to ask what she wanted or help her with the menu.

Daughter of resident · 2024☆☆☆☆

My mom was there for 11 days and out of the 11 days, they couldn’t control my moms sugar, they would give her normal food, no diabetic food, no sugar free anything... they refused to call 911 on my mom, so we did.
