Questions for Your Tour

  • 1Given the recent feedback regarding facility maintenance, could you walk me through your daily cleaning schedule and how you ensure high standards of hygiene in resident rooms and common areas?
  • 2I am concerned about communication; what is the official protocol for family members to receive timely updates on their loved one’s health status or daily needs?
  • 3With your current staffing levels, how does the facility ensure that residents receive consistent support with daily activities like hydration, feeding, and personal hygiene?
  • 4Can you explain your internal policies for safeguarding personal belongings and how you track items to prevent loss or theft?
  • 5Regarding resident safety, what specific monitoring systems or protocols do you have in place to prevent unwitnessed falls and ensure prompt assistance when a resident needs help?
  • 6Since the rehab team is often highlighted as a strength, how do you integrate their expertise into the daily care plan for residents who aren't in active therapy?

Key Review Excerpts

My loved one experienced abuse and a great deal of neglect. Unable to feed herself, no one took the time to feed her or give her beverages. My loved one lost a tremendous amount of weight.

Memory care family member · 2024☆☆☆☆

The therapy department is great every staff member that I encountered starting with the administrator whether it be a GNA, nurse a housekeeper or the wonderful people at the desk that greet you have been literally fantastic.

Visitor · 2018★★★★★

My son was there for 2 1/2 days before he became ill and was transported to a local ER. There is no professionalism patient clothing cabinets are used for employee's personal belongings some of the rooms have shared bathrooms with adjacent rooms and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been clean in months.
