What this means for your family

Embassy of Woodview is a high-risk facility where experiences vary drastically based on the specific unit and staff on duty. While some families report positive outcomes under recent leadership, the recurring, severe reports of neglect, hygiene issues, and medical errors are critical red flags. If you consider this facility, perform an unannounced visit, check the state's latest survey results, and ensure you have a clear plan for frequent, personal monitoring of your loved one's care.

Key Review Excerpts

My dad has been here for over 2 plus years and he loves it.They got a new D.O.N I have spoke with her she's really caring and can't leave out Rachael who has really turned this place around since she has been a administrator.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

My father in law was a resident of Woodview for 7 years. We removed him 2 weeks ago. As of today, a bedsore on his foot, and one on his back, are not healing and the skin is dying. The Drs are recommending hospice, and don't think it will be more than a few days.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

My mother was sent to Woodview from Doctors Hospital to continue her IV’s. We weren’t sure what to expect, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her 7 week stay. The staff from the nurses, aides, to administrative workers, were outstanding including the food!
