What this means for your family

Families should exercise extreme caution and are advised to conduct frequent, unannounced visits to monitor the quality of care and cleanliness of their loved one's environment.

Edenbrook of Edina receives highly polarized feedback, with many families reporting severe neglect, poor hygiene, and dangerous medication management errors. While some patients praise the physical and occupational therapy departments for aiding their recovery, these positive experiences are frequently overshadowed by reports of call lights being ignored, unsanitary room conditions, and a lack of communication from staff.

Key Review Excerpts

I’ll start off by giving top notch grades to the physical and occupational staff. I was brought there on a gurney not able to stand and three months later walked out because of their tremendous dedication and help!!!

Rehab patient · 2025★★★☆☆

My dad was left in filth and had zero care. I was so disappointed. Nothing was accessible for him in a wheelchair, he wasn’t on the right bed he was supposed to be on, no bed rails, no hoyer lift, absolutely nothing to aid in his independence.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

The floor in the bathroom was so sticky your shoes stuck to the floor even after they mopped it was not cleaned fully. The toilet was not cleaned either when we got there.
