Key Review Excerpts

The CNAs at this facility are magnificent and care so deeply about the residents they work with. I’ve seen many of them go above and beyond for those under their care.

Visitor/Observer · 2025★★★★★

The building may be a little bit dated but it is very clean and it looks like they are working on a face lift now. Housekeeping stays on top of every little thing. There was never any odors and the building was always bright and shiny.

Family member of long-term resident · 2025★★★★★

I regret to say that our experience with this facility was disappointing. My grandmother’s pressure wound was not properly managed, progressing from a stage 1 to a stage 3.

9deficiencies
Near state avg (16.6)

Coronado Care Center shows a pattern of recurring deficiencies across multiple care areas over three years of inspections. The facility has persistent issues with care planning, food safety and nutrition services, and infection control that appear in multiple surveys. While all cited deficiencies have correction dates, the repetition of problems with developing proper care plans and maintaining food safety standards suggests ongoing operational challenges families should discuss during visits.
