Key Review Excerpts

I want to give a huge shoutout to Shanice M., one of the nurses caring for my mom. She is truly exceptional--always kind, compassionate, and has such a wonderful sense of humor that brightens my mom’s entire day.

Long-term resident's family · 2025★★★★★

I have been here a week and I would not let my dog stay here for a weekend. The price is very rundown, very unsanitary, the nurse response is very slow, and you can tell all they are here for is the money!

Rehab patient · 2026☆☆☆☆

My grandpa was there for rehab for less than 72 and became severely dehydrated and malnourished . I left a complaint within and they said they would call after they “investigated” it well I’ve never got a call back which I'm not surprised.

Well below state avg (6.1)

Cedar Valley has 14 deficiencies across three surveys, primarily involving fire safety systems and building infrastructure issues rather than direct care problems. The facility shows recurring problems with emergency lighting, sprinkler systems, and smoke detection equipment that appear across multiple inspections. While all deficiencies have correction dates, the pattern of repeated fire safety violations suggests ongoing maintenance challenges that families should discuss during visits.
