Key Review Excerpts

My grandfather has been here multiple times. They worked wonders. He came in not being able to walk, feed himself and other places had suggested hospice. 3 years later thanks to Burton Health care and their amazing workers our grandpa is back home, walking and stronger then before.

Long-term resident's family · 2022★★★★★

This place is absolutely terrible. They neglected my father to the point that he almost died of dehydration and let his blood count drop very low. They also just left him in his bed without moving him around and he has bed soars and his leggs are locked in the fetal position.

Long-term resident's family · 2021☆☆☆☆

I would like burton health care but the only problem is every time I try to call to talk to my mom no one ever picks up the phone I'll hold on for 10 minutes than they hang up on u than I'll call back same thang wait 10 minutes than they hang up again

Clean record — no deficiencies

Burton Health Care Center shows a concerning pattern of recurring fire safety and building system deficiencies across all three surveys, with the same fire alarm and smoke door issues appearing repeatedly from 2019 to 2025. The facility has also had problems with resident protection, family notification, and care quality standards. While all deficiencies were reportedly corrected, the persistent recurrence of safety violations suggests ongoing maintenance and compliance challenges that families should carefully consider.
