What this means for your family

This facility is an excellent choice for patients requiring intensive physical therapy, as the rehab team is frequently cited as a standout strength. However, families should closely monitor skin integrity and wound care, as one serious incident of bed sores was reported, and ensure you have a direct way to communicate with staff since phone accessibility has been noted as a challenge.

Brighton Post Acute is highly regarded for its exceptional physical therapy programs and a warm, attentive nursing staff that many residents describe as feeling like family. While the majority of reviews praise the cleanliness and meal variety, families should be aware of a critical report regarding wound care neglect and a separate concern regarding difficulty reaching the facility by phone.

Key Review Excerpts

THEY DO SO MUCH MORE THAN THE OTHERS!!!!!! This is the ONLY facility that has 2 NEW THERAPY ROOMS, does full time RT on top of PT, OT, ST, has a LEGIT THERAPY CAR, ..., Greatest therapy team, the nursing staff are all so nice and friendly.

Rehab patient · 2026★★★★★

One week ago today my father passed away. He was a resident at Brighton for over a month. He had a neurological episode and was taken to Fresno community. It was discovered that my father had two massive deep bed sores that were oozing and bleeding.

Deceased resident's family · 2026☆☆☆☆

The therapy team really stepped up to the task of getting my grandmother back home to us. We had the option to bring her home after her surgery but was only offered to have therapy 2-3 times a week. With the increased workload of transporting her back and forth we had to make the tough decision to send her here.
