What this means for your family

This facility presents significant risks regarding patient safety, specifically concerning medication administration and wound care. While some families report kind staff, the frequency of serious allegations regarding neglect is too high to ignore; if you choose this facility, you must implement daily, unannounced visits to monitor your loved one's physical condition and medication adherence.

Families should exercise extreme caution, as several recent reviews allege severe medical neglect, including failure to administer life-saving medications, untreated bed sores, and unexplained injuries. While some long-term residents' families praise the kindness of specific staff members and the cleanliness of the facility, there is a significant pattern of serious allegations regarding patient safety and staffing inadequacy.

How They Respond to Reviews

Generic

The owner uses a highly standardized, template-based approach for all negative reviews. While they acknowledge the reviewer by name, the core of the response is a repetitive script that fails to address the specific allegations of neglect, overdose, or injury.

Key Review Excerpts

My mother was in this facility for 2 days before I rescued her! She was supposed to be there for rehab after a hip replacement. She was left in bed all of time without pain meds, until I got there.

Rehab patient's family · 2022☆☆☆☆

Due to the negligence here they are back and worse just from letting her sit in soiled bottoms. She is in a very small bed with no bed rails!!

Rehab patient's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

I have a family member who spent some time at Brentwood. I was impressed with how kind and attentive the staff were to my loved one.
