What this means for your family

While some families report excellent long-term care, the recurring complaints regarding hygiene and slow response times are significant red flags. If you are considering this facility, we strongly recommend conducting an unannounced visit to observe the cleanliness of the rooms and the responsiveness of the staff to call lights before making a decision.

Boulder Park Terrace receives highly polarized feedback, with some families praising the staff for compassionate, long-term care, while others report severe neglect and operational failures. Critical concerns include poor hygiene standards, such as infrequent bathing and dirty facilities, alongside significant issues with communication and slow response times to call lights. Families should be aware of the stark contrast between the positive experiences of some long-term residents and the distressing reports of substandard care in rehab and short-term stays.

Key Review Excerpts

Worst experience ever. Non existent communication, incompetence in staff RN was unable to do a straight cath by herself Cena unable to perform a bladder scan correctly. Horrible peri care, often not even cleaned after incontinence.

Rehab patient · 2025☆☆☆☆

The lack of hygiene is unacceptable as is the wait for a patient to get assistance. Basic shower or sponge bath seems non-existent. The quality of the rooms are extremely antiquated and dirty.

Long-term resident's family · 2023☆☆☆☆

The entire staff of nurses, aids, administrators, office personnel, coordinators, social services, kitchen staff and housekeeping were all caring and willing to help in any way possible.
