What this means for your family

While the physical therapy department is frequently praised for its effectiveness, the facility has a consistent history of severe sanitation and communication issues. If you consider this facility, you must conduct an in-person tour, specifically checking the cleanliness of patient rooms and asking for a direct point of contact for medical updates to mitigate the communication gaps reported by many families.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews

69 reviews on Google
Boca Raton Rehabilitation Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many families reporting severe neglect, unsanitary conditions, and poor communication. While some reviewers praise specific therapy staff and individual nurses for their dedication, these positive experiences are frequently overshadowed by reports of patients suffering from dehydration, untreated pressure sores, and lack of basic hygiene. Prospective families should be aware of a recurring pattern of complaints regarding unresponsive administration and inadequate staffing levels.

Key Review Excerpts

My husband now has bed sores which he didn't have before being transferred to Boca Rehab. The sheets on his bed had blood and these are the sheets that were washed. Very dirty the whole place smells of pee.

Spouse of resident · 2022☆☆☆☆

The physical therapy team at Boca Raton Rehab is top notch. They are knowledgeable, experienced, get to know their patients, and really care about their progress. Most of the nursing staff are capable knowledgeable but both the nurses and the aides are overworked.

Daughter of resident · 2021★★★★

I'm embarrassed I placed my mother here. I should have listened to the other commenters and done more thorough research. The most concerning problem is that they don't communicate with family members.
