Batavia Nursing Care Center receives highly polarized feedback, with many staff members and their associates leaving glowing reviews while families of residents frequently report severe neglect and poor communication. Critical concerns include reports of uncaring aides, slow response times for basic needs, and significant issues regarding end-of-life care and management responsiveness. While some families praise the therapy and nursing teams, the recurring complaints about cleanliness, staff attitude, and administrative failures suggest a highly inconsistent experience.

Key Review Excerpts

My friend is in there for rehab after knee surgery. I don't feel the aides are very attentive. She is not able to get up on her own and she has to wait forever for someone to assist her when she had to use the bathroom.

Rehab patient's friend · 2019★★☆☆☆

The staff is amazing but short handed. Unfortunately that is everywhere. My issue is with Management. I can NEVER get a call back. The only time someone reached out to me was when I left a bad review.

Resident's family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

The team at Batavia Nursing Care is outstanding! My father has lived there for little over 9 months. Once admitted, we immediately had a Care Conference to address his needs. The room was recently updated with flooring and paint.
