What this means for your family

Aspen Health and Rehab offers a modern, clean environment with a highly regarded physical therapy department, making it a potential candidate for short-term rehab. However, families should be aware of recurring reports regarding slow response times to call lights and inconsistent medication management. We strongly recommend visiting during off-hours or weekends to observe staffing levels firsthand before making a decision.

Key Review Excerpts

The meds came in on time, the staff was top notch and friendly and caring, really caring not just in it for the money. Plus the food was great. The rehab was pushing but gentle when they physically handled me.

Rehab patient · 2025★★★★★

Right away when they were more than the staff could handle they were sedated heavily to the point they did not receive any OT, very little PT and minimal wound care. Even had wounds worsen during their time there (with feces in bandages) and they were not allowed to toilet but rather told to soil themselves and be changed hours later.

Family member · 2025☆☆☆☆

I would not recommend anyone to this place. Left husband sitting on toilet 45 minutes. In middle of night he would ring for help with personal needs, they would come in and turn light off and come back 15-30 minutes later.
